BTVS - Spike x Reader - Forever

Spike or better known as William in his human life, had his eyes on you for quite sometime. You were the only one among the crowd that appreciated the effort he put into his poetry (even if it was bloody awful.)

That was the moment you captured this shy but passionate man's heart forever.

He tried many times to approach you and strike up a conversation, to grasp your attention away from the others and have it all to himself. He was shy to do so. Instead you were always the one walking up to him starting the conversation.

He couldn't take his eyes off you, oh how he couldn't take his eyes off you. He was lost in your (eye color) eyes, he was watching your sweet soft lips speak praise of his work. He wished he could tell you his feelings that were like a wild flame.

He found his poetry becoming about you and the more you praised it, the more it inspired him to continue. The bloody awful poet finally got up the courage to ask you in courtship. His heart was racing, anticipating your reply for it could only be yes or a no.

"Yes." you replied, smiling a bright smile.

William was overjoyed, wishing this to last forever. But alas, it was not accepted by your father who had heard about the 'William the Bloody' and rejected the courtship. Both you and him were crushed because of it.

William wandered the streets heartbroken, and bumped into a woman with dark hair and a secret. She consoled him and gave him a gift, to drink blood and live immortally.

His first destination was to head to your home, and take you away from the miserable place. As he did so, bloodshed was brought forth. He told you his secret and offered it to you as you kindly accepted.

He wanted this to last forever and forever it shall last.
